1. Who We Are

Page Keep-Alive is a Chrome browser extension developed and maintained by zenteno.xyz. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@zenteno.xyz.

2. What Data We Collect

Free version

The free version of Page Keep-Alive collects absolutely no data. Your settings (such as which mode is active or your preferred keyboard shortcut behavior) are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. This data never leaves your browser.

Pro version

If you purchase Page Keep-Alive Pro, the following data is collected for the sole purpose of license verification:

• Email address — the email you used to purchase Pro
• License key — the key issued to you after purchase

This data is sent to our secure license validation server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) only when you activate or re-verify your license. It is stored locally via chrome.storage.sync so Chrome can sync it across your devices. It is never sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than verifying your license.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your browsing history or which websites you visit
• The content of any web pages
• Your cookies, passwords, or form data
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports or error logs
• Any information about you, your device, or your location

4. How We Use Data

The only data we process (email + license key for Pro users) is used exclusively to verify that your Pro license is valid. We do not:

• Send you marketing emails (unless you explicitly ask for support)
• Share your data with any third parties
• Use your data for advertising or profiling
• Retain your data beyond what is necessary for license verification

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe (payment processing)

If you purchase Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store or see your payment card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment transaction.

Cloudflare Workers (license validation)

Our license validation API runs on Cloudflare Workers. Your email and license key are transmitted over HTTPS when verifying your license. Cloudflare's infrastructure processes this request, but we do not store logs of individual validation requests.

6. Data Storage & Security

All settings and license data are stored using Chrome's chrome.storage API, which is managed by your browser. This data is:

• Encrypted in transit via HTTPS when synced across devices
• Subject to Google's Chrome sync security policies
• Removed automatically if you uninstall the extension

7. Your Rights

Since we collect virtually no data, there is very little to manage. However, you have full control:

• Uninstall the extension at any time — all local data is deleted
• Clear extension data via Chrome's settings at any time
• Request deletion of your license record by emailing support@zenteno.xyz

8. Children's Privacy

Page Keep-Alive is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
